The Australian Government will proceed with the Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey of all Australians on the Commonwealth Electoral Roll.  Arrangements will be put in place to allow eligible Australians living overseas to participate in the survey.  Further details of these processes will be released on the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) website (www.abs.gov.au).  To be eligible to participate in the survey you must be enrolled with the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) by 6pm (AEST) on 24 August 2017.

Those living overseas need to ensure that they are correctly enrolled as an Overseas Elector. To enrol or to check or update your enrolment visit the AEC website (www.aec.gov.au) or call +61 6160 2600. You cannot enrol or check your details via the Embassy or Consulates.
